Cesario seemed grumpy when I hauled him back over to the Svensson estate. I wasn’t feeling much better. Though it was nice to know Avery wasn’t mad at me, I couldn’t spend all night destressing her—and me.

“He’s probably hungry,” Weston said, dumping a fistful of Honey Bunches of Oats into the rabbit carrier. Cesario nibbled at them.

“He already can’t fit in his tux,” I chastised.

“So you’re in charge of dressing the rabbit now?” Weston said. “You’re like a rabbit butler!”

“I’m not!” I checked my watch. “We need to start this bachelor party. The wedding festivities begin tomorrow morning, and Avery is going to be angry if I show up late.”

“Let’s get this bunny show on the road!” Weston whooped.

Cesario made a weird groaning noise as I followed my brothers out to the car.

“I hope he isn’t sick.”

“That would really ruin the wedding, if the groom dies right before,” Weston said.

“Don’t even joke like that,” I snapped at Weston as the school bus pulled up.

“I’m the designated driver!” Remy said cheerfully.

“Do we really have to do this?”

“You were the one saying Avery was angry at you,” Weston reminded me. “You want to push your luck?”
